Chrysanthe is a London-based songwriter, producer, and recording artist whose music blends deeply personal storytelling with an enduring sense of hope. Born in Rwanda, Chrysanthe has travelled and lived in several countries across the world and later settled in Europe, experiences that continue to shape both the emotional depth and perspective of his work.

Drawn to music from an early age, everything changed upon witnessing a live guitar performance for the first time, a moment that sparked a lifelong commitment to songwriting and sound. Chrysanthe went on to study audio engineering while performing with several bands, developing a strong foundation in both the creative and technical sides of music-making.

In 2012, Chrysanthe released a debut EP and began touring, while also collaborating with and supporting other artists through songwriting, production, and recording work. In 2014, Chrysanthe worked with acclaimed producer Stéphane Debruyne (Kid Noize, Lubiana, Skip The Use, Joshua), resulting in a full record that ultimately remained unreleased as life took an unexpected turn.

Although stepping back from the spotlight for a time, Chrysanthe never stopped writing or producing. Now returning with a new record, Chrysanthe presents music shaped by lived experience and a clear-eyed view of the world, rooted in resilience, optimism, and the belief that music and love have the power to heal.

Chrysanthe wrote and produced all songs on the forthcoming release, collaborating with other musicians who contributed keyboards, bass, and drums, bringing added depth and texture to a deeply personal body of work.
